Besos del pasado

Seguro que estas alturas ya todos sabéis que hoy es el día Internacional del Beso y que se celebra gracias el beso más largo de la historia (versión de la wikipedia).

Esta mañana mientras desayunaba y hacía el pequeño repaso matutino de periodicos online y webs varias me enteré de la existencia de este día, una que no se entera... y lo primero que me vino a la mente fue la famosa fotografía de Alfred Eisentaedt, esa en la que un marinero besa a una enfermera en Times Square.

Y por eso hoy decidí que era un buen día para hacer una pequeña recopilación de fotos antiguas; y esto es tontería mía que soy una melancólica (supongo que Billy Wilder algo tiene que ver), pero cre que un beso en blanco y negro es un beso de verdad.

I'm pretty sure at this moment you already know that today is the Kiss international day. It takes place today because of the anniversary of the most longest kiss in the history

This morning during breakfast I was taking a look to the news and some websites when I found out the existence of this day. I'm out of the world!!

The first thing it crossed my mind was that famous Alfred Eisentaedt's photography of a sailor kissing a nurse in Times Square.

And that it's the reason why I chose this day to make a compilation of vintage photographs. It could be a bit silly or maybe it has a connection with my melancholy (I guess Billy Wilder has something to do with it)
I believe a black and white kiss it's a truly kiss.

Surreal portraits

Que sucede cuando fusionamos un retrato con un paisaje de ensueño? el resultado, unas imágenes surrealistas creadas por el fotógrafo español Antonio Mora. Porque me gusta Tim Walker¡¡ 

Como todos sabemos la inspiración no llega de la nada, la inspiración surge de consumir y filtrar mucha información, y así es como mi fotógrafo preferido crea sus fantásticas composiciones. Tim Walker que comenzó como asistente de Richard Avedon es hoy uno de los fotógrafos de moda más relevantes, con un estilo surrealista y romántico consigue crear y trasladarnos a otros mundos llenos de mágia y fantasía.

As we all know the inspiration does not come from nowhere, inspiration comes from consuming and filtering a lot of information, and that's how my favorite photographer creates his compositions. Tim Walker began as assistant to Richard Avedon and he is today one of the most important fashion photographers, with a surreal and romantic style he get to create and move us to other worlds of magic and fantasy.
