A través de My Modern Met he conocido el proyecto de Tasha Lewis, Swarm: World Migration.

Who haven't felt attracted for and neverending story? Or surprised for a Petit Prince reflections? Or intrigued by Dr. Jekyll? Or perhaps, you have felt part of the memories, the portrait or someone dairies.
Books have the power to take us to another magic world, they get us away from our reality, and they have the magic to make us feel, I'm sure you have laughed alone with a book and you didn't realise that you was in a train station plenty of people, or maybe you have felt impotence for don't be able to help the protagonist, or maybe you have fall in love with the main character.
But today I leave a few images where the sheets and the covers of our favourite books have been used to created amazing installations, sculptures, walls or rivers.
It´s raining books, Book sculpture, book arch, book art, read, book caos, book shop, under the tree, tower,

First Kiss
Probably at this point you already know this video. But I will not miss the chance of share it here.
I think it's so sweet this iniciative of the director Tatia Pilieva. An analysis of unknown kissing for the first time. Tender kisses, kisses passionated, shy kisses ...
In the end a sum up of reactions and... feelings? I guess feeling to.
Edit: It seems that the famous video of kissing strangers is a fashion brand campaign. So this is a nice video starring probably unknown actors kissing each other.

Arte a tiras
She's not a photographer, or painter... not even sculptor. We can't put a label on Nathalie Boutté. Without any artistic formation but looking forward of discovered and transmit.
Her work is fascinate. Narrow strips of paper made her collages images in relief.

Ballooooooooon
A collective of artists from different disciplines, working together under the name, Penique Productions, joined by a project, to cover large surfaces with a giant inflatable balloon, which expands to integrate with the structure of the space.
One of my favorite projects, the installation in Paris for Maison Martin Margiela:

In Response to Shoshone Falls.
Some time ago I'm fascinated with the all paper posibilities and I've been keeping all the photos which impact me; furniture, clothes, decorative pieces...
I don't even remember since when I keep this paper sea. It's a instalation of Wade Kavanaugh y Stephen B. Nguyen called In Response to Shoshone Falls.
I love these huge instalations and these american artists seems to be an experts on them.
I leave you a sample of it.

Auntie Peggy Has Departed by Shane Waltener

In her most recent proyects invites the viewers to take part and interact with her piece. With this, she aims to shift the focus from the symbolic meaning of objects and materials, to the activity to which they relate.
However, I want to show you the work which leads me to Shane:
Auntie Peggy Departed shows us a crochet spiderweb in mercerised cotton.
Placed in Aldwych station, the Strand, London. This installation it was accompanied with subterranean sounds, human voices, music fragments, metalic sounds... without a doubt a exceptional experience.
Shane describe this spiderwebs like dreamcatchers, each knot holding a thought, a memory. The sum of these make up the history of a place.

Umbrella Sky
